vervianrootI saw Deathly Hallows today!
1. GREAT movie. It was long,, but the pacing was good and it kept well with the book and hey, Ron does cool things he does in canon and his lines weren't given away! Any haters saying he is a useless characters can hate. I love Rupert!
2. FLEUR'S DRESS. SO PRETTY.
3. Neville is in the movie for one scene, has one line, and IS A COMPLETE BAD ASS.
4. I liked the dancing scene. Yeah, it was pretty pointless, but it was cute and lightened the mood. Also, loved the added scene with Hermoine's parents.
5. I loved how they told the story of the three brothers.
6. Yeah, why do Slytherfen give Bellatrix cutesy nicknames again?
7. DOBBY IS A FREE ELF!
Malfoys, consider yourselves pwned.
8. OMG DOBBY. ;_;
9. ALL THE RON/HERMIONE MOMENTS! Especially Ron's speech with the deluminator. Also, the small touch of keeping the scene where they had fallen asleep at Grimmauld Place and Harry woke up and observed that there hands were so close together that they may have fallen asleep holding hands.
10. Really didn't go in as much as they could have into Dumbledore's back-story. There was no mention of Ariana.
11. It looks like Snape learned how to Herbal.
12. The end with Dumbledore's tomb where Voldemort looks him right in the face sets up great dramatic tension for the next movie.
ETA: 13. Naked Harry and Hermoine in Ron's horcrux vision looked sparklepire weird. Too much CGI there.
